Superintendent's Message
As a community member and a father of three children who attended and graduated from the Dartmouth Public Schools, I am extremely honored to have this wonderful opportunity to serve as the Interim Superintendent of the Dartmouth Schools.  I look forward to working with the students, parents/guardians, faculty, staff and community members to provide academic excellence to every child.

There will be administrative changes this year, but please be assured the goal of everyone is to improve the educational climate of the Dartmouth Public Schools.  Let us all work together to accomplish the goal of TEAM--Together Everyone Achieves More.

Michael Shea,
Interim Superintendent

Summer Reading Program
Dartmouth Public Schools
2014 Summer Reading: Empowering Students to Excel!

Dear Families,

Summertime is here!  At Dartmouth Public Schools, we are delighted to be sending students in grades 1-7  home with one book to add to their personal libraries.  All our students entering grades 1-12 are required to read one book during the summer.  This year, students in grades 1-12 are able to choose their required reading from titles that have been carefully selected.  Although the requirement is only one book, we encourage students to read LOTS during the summer.  The staff and students have developed LOTS of suggestions for additional titles to be read during the summer months.
